This is all history. God forgives and the church can follow suit. The Richard Coles current lifestyle, as described, is entirely consistent with the church’s guidance.
He has also admitted to “dogging” (seeking out males in public places for sex).
So elevating for a member of the clergy. I suppose it’s in line with The Episcopalian Church in America. Gene Robinson couldn’t even manage to stay with his partner after causing a major rift in the Anglican Communion.
He’s celibate now. Do you believe in redemption?
Yes I do. And if he has repented I rejoice. However why does he have to air his dirty linen in public.
Because if people like him don’t it just looks like they fell from the sky fully formed vicars.
