The holy wrath of God and his just legal condemnation of all mankind who have not submitted to Jesus Christ in repentance, faith, love, obedience and fear is not “a useful evolutionary adaptation” but a terrible truth, which always needs to be set alongside the wonderful truth that he invites, commands exhorts, beseeches all of us so to submit.
