Of course Andrew that goes for you all as a family
Mark I want you and Hazel to know I have written in defense of both of yo and your father. I have been saddened by it and I wrote to Steven Khurt to say so he ignored it. Even though I am a survivor I understand about systematic failure, I understand about split loyalties I understand about the relativity of the culture of the time and I understand, that your Dad could not act on things he never had the full facts about. I also understand about the lifelong consequence of abuse especially the being ignored, I understand about how one can feel abused and reabused with the burden of proof. I have faced enough mockers in my time to understand but I genuinely do. I was very upset disturbed when I read the accusations. Part of me feels it’s partly my fault yet I know it’s not in the same way as you understand your dad cannot be guilty if he did not know , but also the unbearable pressure put upon clergy and politicians to carry the b for everything. I know the view is well thy GT paid a lot of money for that risk, personally I don’t believe anyone but the actual perpetrators should take the responsibility, and I say that after being let down because that’s what I believe. But I want you and everyone else to know I care you can laugh at me belittle me ignore me whatever you like but I care. So hear that loud and clear I care.
