The Bishop of Southwark, along with Roman Catholic Bishops, has written urging His Majesty’s Government to reassert the long-standing position that the British Embassy remains in Tel Aviv pending a negotiated settlement on the status of the Holy City, noting that Heads of the Churches there plead that this is vital for the peace of Jerusalem.
