Fulcrum Statement on the Appointment of Justin Welby as Archbishop of Canterbury
"Fulcrum is delighted at the announcement of Bishop Justin Welby's appointment to be the next Archbishop of Canterbury.
Bishop Justin's warm support for women bishops, and his considerable international experience in and beyond the Anglican Communion will hold him in good stead as he leads us through the many issues which confront us, and focuses our efforts on the promotion of our faith in Jesus Christ to our nation. His commitment to church growth and holistic mission and his optimistic vision for the church fill us with great excitement.
We wish him well and pray for him as he takes up his post, and look forward to working with him in future."
