Texting and tongues out — the Archbishop’s family life January 22, 2014 by Fulcrum The Archbishop of Canterbury’s media party at Lambeth Palace was given extra zest by the presence of his family. As he concluded his address to journalists, Justin Welby observed: “I can see that my daughter is sticking out her tongue at me. I’m not quite sure why. Perhaps she’ll text me. Like every other family these days we communicate by text. Even when we’re sitting at the same table.” The Londoner asked daughter Katherine, 26, what she was doing. “I was sticking out my tongue,” she said cheerfully.
