The coronavirus story meets the Passion story: Ten meditations for Holy Week – ABC Religion & Ethics April 11, 2020 by Fulcrum We are entering this year a Holy Week unlike any previous one. In any other year — such as the one in which I originally wrote the Passion and Easter meditations which follow — one could speak of sufferings, agonies and betrayals which might be afflicting some Christians more than others as they set out on their Holy Week observance. And one could invite them — as indeed I did in my first meditation that follows — to dare to go deeper this time, into a new and demanding identification with the Passion and death of Jesus, and so too into a deeper understanding of the transformed glory of his resurrection.
